was gonna give it a go earlier but I guess patch 1.01 reset all the config settings I made, so I gotta go do all that again! and then I said fuck it and went to play something else :p Apparently all unreal3 games reset the ini files every update.At the 'Options' menu, enable the console. Its just reallly amateur feeling, the entire thing! =/ and i've managed to accidentally get myself stuck in the scenery/objects laying around with no way out cept rjing/killing self haha. But at least its not slow as fuck? Also theirs tons of crap in the levels like laying around and shit. either way the movement feels pretty ass overall lol. I am new to unreal engine tho so i dunno if its impossible or i just suck. you can do single strafe jumps and get a farther distance but I dunno how you string them together to keep accelerating like in quake games. Things often glitch out or behave weirdly which kinda brings you out of the moment a bit but its w.e. The game only seems fun in short periods like 20 minutes at a time. In the game the unreal engine kinda sucks for the floating disc platforms / bounce pads. You also have to do some key bindings through config as their menu input options are half broken (certain keys)

Since this game was billed as a oldschool PC game for PC people made by PC guys its pretty disappointing that you have to do this. To fix all the GLARING mouse issues (and framerate issues for some people) you need to look up info on forums about which directories and which configs and which cvars to alter (of which there are quite a few, often doing the same thing in multiple configs in multiple directories). I'm bias on engines obviously but the unreal3 engine is really unpleasent to deal with, both ingame and out.

Other than that it really feels like some mod made by a mod group for free, not a game released from a developer. If you're an oldschool pc guy who loved the old rott then yes you will have some short bursts of fun and wear a grin on your face for some of the stuff you can do in the game.
